The Last 3 Regrets

There are three last regrets that the majority of people have right before they leave this earthly existence:

They wish they would've spent more time with their loved ones.
They wish they would have lived up to their full potential.
They wish they would have chosen to be happy more of the time.

Spending more time with your loved ones; your family, your children, your parents, your extended family and your friends is at the top of the list. Make 2013 the year that you choose to spend more time with your family.

Of course there are times when it is expected that you're not spending as much time with your family as you do at other times. When you first start building your business your life is all out of balance and that is natural. There is no such thing as a perfect balance in life. Just as when you are about to give birth to your baby nothing else seems to matter except the task at hand which is delivering your baby. When you start a new business it's just like having a baby. It needs nurturing, caring and your undivided attention for the first couple of years.

So instead of alienating your family during this period of time it is best to incorporate them and get them on board with you and your business. There are many things that your children can do to help you when you first do his business start up. There are many things that your spouse can do to support you. And there are a lot of things that you can do together as a family when you are building your business.

So there is such a thing as working on your business while spending time with your family and teaching important business skills to the younger members of your family.

Living up to your full potential

This is a deep regret for many people as they get later on in life when they feel like they have wasted a lot of their life working for somebody else and living other people's lives instead of their own.

Choose in 2013 to begin to live to your full potential.

Start with sitting down and doing a brainstorming session with yourself. Write down all of your dreams that you've ever had ever since you were little child of things that you wanted to be when you grew up. Write down all of the passions that you have, what drives you, what makes you tick, what keeps you up at night.

What are the gifts that you were born with? What are those talents that you were given?

Move beyond a commitment to survival and move into a commitment to prosperity and then into a commitment that you will make a difference in the world. The universe will conspire to make it so.

Dust off your dreams. Be more, do more, have more. God wants you to have everything you want. You just have to say yes.

Being Happy in your Life

The third regret that most people have when they realized toward the end of their life that they did have a choice all along. The choice is either to be happy or to not be happy. It is about how we respond to our circumstances in our environment. No one can make you happy. No one can make you sad. It is your choice.

You can choose in 2013 to be happy. It is not about what happens to us but how we respond to what happens to us that makes the difference.

So even though there's a lot of things in the country and in the world right now that are very disconcerting, there is still a lot to be happy for. It does not mean you don't take a stand and you don't fight for what is right. You can do all that you need to do with a cheerful heart and a knowing heart.

The best recipe for happiness is to learn how to be grateful. To count your many blessings each and every morning when you wake up.

Choose today to wake up each morning and before you ever plant your feet up on your floor take 5 min. to really think about what you're thankful for. Each morning try to think about different things were thankful for from the day before so that you're not repeating the same ones over and over again.

So begin today January of 2013 to reverse engineer the three regrets that most people leave this world with. Choose today to take action in these three areas of your life in order to attain a life of your full potential, happiness and surrounded by loved ones.

Start off your New Year with coaching to get you to the top of your business! Coaching is a great way to help you get your business on track or to increase your business.

Some agents/brokers have a self-imposed income cealing that makes them stuck at a certain income level.
Some agents/brokers have organizational challenges that keep them from moving forward in their business.
Some agents/brokers have system challenges, they are forever living in a feast and famine lifestyle because they never create systems in their businesses that they can then delegate.
Some agents/brokers suffer from "perfectionism" which is the most dangerous counter to really making a great income.
Some agents/brokers procrastinate and simply don't take action.
Some agents/brokers are technically challenged and need coaching to get them up to speed in the online world.
Some agents/brokers just want to work on their SEO and keywords, blogging and websites to get them on page one.

Many people can learn and apply the instructions through reading them in an article. But for those of you who really need it explained through hearing the instructions and some visuals then here is your tutorial. It all depends on your learning style.

We keep getting questions about how to set up the google authorship so we decided to answer those questions through an instructional video tutorial.

SEO Blog Commenting for Hyper-Local Posts and Market Reports

Google has made a lot of changes to their algorithms the last couple of years. It is tough and time consuming to stay on top of all of it.

One of the tasks that we do is SEO blog commenting on websites, blogs and ActiveRain hyper-local posts and market reports. Google wants to see that we are actively engaged having a conversation with one another in our respective niche areas.

It has come to our attention that the agents that we are doing this with are NOT posting regularly on their websites, blogs and ActiveRain blogs. You should be posting at least 3 times a week on your web properties.

What this also means is that we run out of places to make comments on when postings are not regular.

So we are looking for agents who would not mind our Virtual Assistant staff making SEO comments in behalf of Nestor and Katerina Gasset on their ActiveRain blogs especially. There is no cost or obligation on your part for this task. This task also helps you because it shows google you have traffic that engages on your ActiveRain blog and your websites.

If you want to participate just say so in a comment below. This is especially beneficial for short sale agents and equestrian agents. If you are in one of those niches please state so in your comment.

Katerina Gasset- I Was Quoted in FORBES Magazine.

Forbes magazine happens to be one of my favorite so to be quoted in Forbes is all that much sweeter!

I was at Jeff Walker's PLF Live event where hundreds of entrepreneurs gathered, networked and grew together in "awesomeness"!

We also raised over $25,000 for JustLikeMyChild foundation.

Eric T Wagner, a writer for Forbes was at the event also. He asked us this question:

If you had to give just one piece of advice to a 20 something year old who wanted to be an entrpreneur, what would that one thing be?

Eric chose 18 responses and mine was one of them. Well, actually he quoted me two times as I actually had two important pieces of advice.

We would appreciate your help and input

We created our first sales page for selling one of our website templates. This product is the short sale specialist website that is based on years of what we know to be working in the short sale markets.

We would love to get your feedback as to how you think the page looks, reads, flows and any friendly critique is welcome.

Do not click the “get started” buttons on the page. Those are to go to the cart and they don’t work correctly right now. We have not finished that process on the page yet.

In case you do want to get a short sale specialist website for your market area don’t go through the site to do that, text Coach Katerina on her cell at 561-502-1577. Leave your name and repeat your phone number inside the text body. She will call you as soon as she is able to.

If you give us feedback and buy a short sale specialist site before the page is live we will give you a free facebook basic template for your facebook business page.

We can only take orders over the phone so make sure you call or email us that you want one of the sites.

When we launch the page there will be a limit to how many websites we can build so get in line now. It will take 3 weeks for your site to be built counting from the day we receive all of your information for the website.

Once we have 12 orders we have to close the doors. We will re-open the doors once the 12 sites are built.

SEO- Google Announces Disavow Link Tool- IMPORTANT

This is very important. Google has made a lot of changes to how they rank websites this past 12 months. The latest penguin updates were just a few weeks ago.

But the most important change is the Google announcement that they created a tool called “Disavow Links” inside of Google Webmaster.

This is all the hype and buzz right now in the SEO space and you most likely have been sent an email from Market Samurai or other associations you may have with the SEO world.

Whatever you do, my SEO suggestion ( disclaimer: I don’t take any responsibility for what google does or does not do based on what I suggest) is to do nothing.

I don’t use Google Webmaster or Google analytics. Yes, they are free but free from Google could be a trap.

What this new disavow link tool does is allow you the website owner or your webmaster or SEO person to give Google a list of links that are going to your site that maybe you did not approve. These would mostly be low level links or junky links.

This is a two edged sword. You are tattle tailing on yourself giving Google this list. Because just by the mere action of you being able to create the list of links you have not approved ( which in most cases your SEO person did approve- because you went to get the links) is telling Google that you have been link building.

The other side of this sword is that your competition could create a website, go and get the same links you have linking to your site and list them all as junk links to their site by submitting a list and reporting it to the disavow links tool. Then Google would drop down your site because they would then create a master list of all these so called junky links and diminish all sites where these junky links are pointing to.

For most of us, that is not going to happen because your competitors are not that tech savvy but they may hire someone who does know these tricks.

This in my opinion is Google’s way of having tons of webmasters and site owners to do Google’s work for them. We all create these lists and then Google applies those to their algorithms. It is also another way for them to continue to prefer main brands over us little guys.

Before you jump into anything that Google suggests always consider the source. Ask your self, “Why would Google do this?”, “What’s in it for Google?”

Make sure you are answering these questions from Google perspective not from you as a small business owner would answer.

For right now, this minute, this week- don’t do anything with the new disavow link tool.
